Romănești

A protected designation of origin registered by AGEPI on 9 November 1998 (DO-0001), the oldest DOP of Moldovan wine. It lies in the Codru region, Strășeni district: the villages of Romănești, Rădeni and Zamciogi. The name covers red wine. Its specification has not been published, and we have found no wines on the market labelled DOP Romănești.
